One Single Impression: Elusive (an acrostic poem)

  E L U S I V E

Everyday finds him in hiding
Loveless lonely fellow is he
Unpsent his passions are crying
Save these feelings they yearn for she
Into love's dim humble lighting
Vanity is no more to be
End is well he's now inviting

(A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having 3 un-rhymed lines of 5, 7, 5 syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.)
(Similarly constructed poems involving human nature, are generally excluded from haiku, and reserved specifically for Senryū.) [This poem is more of aSenryū. ]

Petrey was an unhappy camper. He was making the rest miserable with his incessant quacking.

Puffington quashed him good with his left hook.

One Single Impression: Inbox

.
.
...
I n b o x

Dad's inbox was full
nine letters to write
fifty-five to read
how did he ever?

My inbox is full
fifty thousand plus
e-mails here to cull
how will I ever?

Catching up is hard
some say can't be done
Dad lit a fire
I used the 'delete'

Two generations
apart by the years
harm done is trifling
we did what it took
